They have some good general information on the web site, but nothing that relates to costs, housing opportunities, internships etc. I just want to know more about UCLA Extension from actual students.

Anybody here has attended UCLA Extension? Specifically, the film scoring certificate?opera music
I have taken some courses through UCLA extension, but not in the film program.
UCLA extension is a separate division of the main university. It is geared towards students who are looking to enhance their careers on a part-time basis. The courses I have taken have varied from very good to so-so depending on who was teaching (the teachers in the classes I took were not regular UCLA professors) There is no campus housing available for UCLA extension students. The courses I took have averaged about $500 each, plus books and supplies, so it is not inexpensive. They do not have an internship program that I am aware of - not sure if you can use UCLA career services. You may want to direct your questions directly to UCLA extension numbers below, as well as the film scoring program itself. I see there is a $200 fee to apply to the film scoring program.
