i have downloaded a movie but the file extension is BIN and I don't know which program can open this file extension.

BIN is a container file like a .Zip file....To play this without having to open the BIN file to extract the video content just use VLC player.

try "daemon tools".
other then VLC a really good player is mpcstar. It plays everything. no seriously though you will never need to get another codec it is so very good. it is the only one I ever use.
.BIN files are usually CD images, and come with .CUE files, just download "Daemon Tools" and mount either file.
